San Diego Auto Repair

This is my 3rd time using Convoy Auto Repair. The first time was smooth, the 2nd experience smoother, and the 3rd time was seamless. I called In and Joe answered the phone. He remembered me from the previous 2 visits. I explained my issue. He called me back within maybe 20 min, told me when he could fit it in, and when it would be finished. I arranged AAA to tow it to them, the tow truck took it and parked it, dropped the keys in the box, and I had a call from Joe at 7:40am letting me know the details. By the end of the day they were done, Joe called me, I paid via cc on the phone with him, and a friend dropped me off at my car at my convenience later that evening. Not once did I have to go to the office. I didn't call them for an update, they called me. I didn't waste hours sitting at a mechanic shop waiting for my car. I just called "Joe" and it was handled. I have found my mechanics for life. In fact everyone I've experienced from Convoy has been pleasant, intelligent, true to their word, and communicative. Plus their prices are reasonable - and they aren't trying to nickel and dime you for everything. Seriously, they are the best and I highly recommend them.

I set an appointment for an alignment after doing major front end work. They had my car finished quickly. Maybe a little too quickly? They gave me a nice printout of the before and after specs. After driving the car it was apparent that the steering wheel was out of center by a pretty significant amount 20-30 degrees. They took care of it, no problem, but I had to bring it back, which is why I gave them four out of five. In fairness I know it is all about getting the cars in and out but it still has to be right. There is a lot to be said for taking a little more time and getting it right the first time! We all like that better.

These guys were able to take my concerns about my vehicle and figure out the issues very efficiently and quickly. They saved me a ton of time and I got some piece of mind! Joe was especially helpful and very professional.

I went in (slightly late, sorry!) because my battery was dying. Their service was so quick I was able to have my vehicle in time for work. Everyone was friendly. 10/10 would come here again. And I feel like I would've spent twice the amount if I had gone to Pep Boys.

Another great experience with Convoy Auto Repair! Thank you Roman and everyone else at the shop for being professional, honest and understanding. Car repairs and the cost are never fun but when you find a shop you can trust, best to stick with them! Got my car towed to them and had the diagnostic testing results the next morning as agreed upon. They send an email and text breaking down their findings and include short videos to back it up. Had my car back in hand one day later. So happy to find a dealership alternative for my Volvo. Happy to continue supporting this business for any future auto repairs.
