THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! The one thing most of us dread having to do is taking our car in for service...especially when it's 10 years old. I took my car to another location (not convoy auto repair, first mistake) 4 days ago for an oil change. Ended up needing my transmission flushed and filled as well as a new filter. $155 later, my check engine light came on the next day. I returned and they said the code reader was indicating fuel so I, being a woman I'm sure, must have not tightened my gas cap and to give it a few days. The next day my car wanted to stall going from reverse to drive. The next day I didn't drive it. Then today the gas pedal was sticking and then my car would hesitate before finally going...in rush hour morning traffic this is terrifying. So I was on my way back to said shop when I decided against it and went to Convoy Auto Repair instead. I walked in and said "my baby isn't feeling well". I explained my issues and was quoted a diagnostic amount and left my car there for what I was told would be a few hours to run a diagnostic. An hour later I get a phone call to tell me, "Your baby is all fixed and ready for you". They told me they test drove it (which I saw them do before I left), they found that the new filter was installed incorrectly causing a vacuum leak (what the hell?!) AND the transmission fluid was half a quart low. I'm sorry but you had two things to do "other shop" and both were done incorrectly causing me to stress unnecessarily for 4 days and miss several hours of work. I went back to Convoy Auto Repair to pick up my car and they had re-installed my filter correctly and topped off my transmission fluid and re-test drove my car and reset my check engine light AND....here's the kicker.....charged me not a penny more than they quoted me for the diagnostic. To boot, they provided very detailed notes on my receipt which I will be taking back to the original place to get my money back. Bottom line, to find a car repair place where you don't feel like you are being taken advantage of is rare and they've got a lifetime customer in me now. I actually also got my brakes replaced here last year as well and was beyond satisfied with that work so I'm angry with myself for not going there for my oil changes as well. All of this could have been avoided. Again, thank you so much Convoy Auto Repair! I'm all over facebook and texts about you and to anyone that will listen.

We are happy we were able to play a part in getting your "baby" back on her feet and running again. It is frustrating to have car problems, especially on a Monday. Thank you for your detailed review it makes all of us happy to know we doing the right things and our customers are satisfied with our efforts. We look forward to a long term relationship and will continue to do our best to keep "Baby Happy" :)

I came in yesterday morning and Joe helped me. I needed some repairs that had been suggested via email. My car was ready by 2:00pm the same day. Joe and Pam are so nice and helpful. I like how they email me with suggestions of repairs and the coupons are great!

Keep watching for those email specials, they are the best deals we give. Joe and Pam have a great following, I am glad you thought so too.

I brought my 2010 Subaru to Convoy a couple of weeks ago, because it wouldn't start intermittently. My own amateur diagnosis was focused on the battery - I thought something was draining it. In any case, they quickly diagnosed it as a sticking starter motor, and I gave them to the go ahead to replace it. Joe called the next day, and said that they installed the new one, but there was still an issue (the replacement was defective). Joe let me know that it would be swapped out and the car back to me the next day. No problem, I said that sounds great. He called the next morning and informed me that it was ready BUT that they had accidentally damaged the key, and they would go to Subaru to have a new key made (since it is an electronic key, it wouldn't be useable if it were damaged). I was really impressed. He asked me to bring the other key in so that they could start it and get it to Subaru to reprogram the other key. At this point, I did not know that when you reprogram keys, it wipes the program from all the keys and reprograms them, and Joe did not know I had a third key (most people only have two keys, so it was reasonable that he did not ask about a third key). Got my car back, and a couple of days later tried to start it. It wouldn't start?? I called Joe, and he asked me to try a different key....it started right up. He asked if I had used one of the keys that he had, I said no....at that point he realized there was a third key, and that all three keys would have to be reprogrammed. I had done this at Subaru a few months ago, so I know that it is around $100/key to reprogram. Joe did not hesitate to make it right, and have all three keys reprogrammed at their cost. The bottom line is these guys are truly a rare breed and highly recommended. I am sure this would not have been so easy with alot of other mechanics, since they obviously did not make any money on this repair due to all the key reprogramming, defective replacement starter, etc., but, they did gain a loyal customer. You can't go wrong with these guys, they always put the customer first....ben

Thank you for your review, but more so your understanding. It was frustrating that we accidently dropped and damaged the chip embedded in your key. Subaru like many manufactures today require so much expense in the key replacement and the required programming to rectify our error. You are right; Joe has a very high customer satisfaction rating as he believes in performing the best possible service to each client. If we error he will also immediately advise a client and then making it right. I am fortunate to have him. I am also fortunate with our seasoned staff our errors are few and far apart!
