I was given a quote over the phone for engine work needed on an older car. Pam called me to let me know she will hold the quote for me. I had the car towed in. After a leak down test, I was informed the block is good. The heads were sent out and the car was ready on the day that she said it should be!It runs very well for an old mutt. Very happy these guys took good care of it.

Friendly service at the customer service desk. The wait time wasn't too bad either. It was the second appointment that I made with Convoy Auto and will do further Smog Checks with them in the future. Excellent.

Found them through AAA as a recommended mechanic and couldn't be happier with the overall experience of doing business with them. Needed to fix a check engine light, a recent issue with one of my gauges, and get a smog check. I set up a time to take my car in and after I dropped it off in the morning their shuttle van took me back to work (I work in Kearny Mesa). They called me a few hours later and clearly explained what they found and what they believe needed to be done. Their estimate for the part, labor, and smog check was fair so I had them do the work. The replacement part fixed my check engine light and gauge issue, and my car passed smog with flying colors. When I picked up my car we reviewed everything again on paper, which I appreciated. They also did a follow up call a few days later. Car runs great and feel like I just did business with a legitimate company who values their customers. Way to go guys, keep up the great work!

They really went above and beyond to try to save parts from having to be replaced and managed to even finish the work ahead of schedule!
