Over next few months, there are several shows inthe greater San Diego area for the hot rod lovers to take a look at. Car Shows in San Diego 1. Back to the 50’s Car Show Travel back in time to view some favorite classic autos. Every Thursday night this summer, over 400 cars will show off their beauty along La Mesa Boulevard. Each night, trophies will be awarded to four cars, one motorcycle and also one La Mesa Police Officer’s Choice Award. Whether you prefer fast rides or classic beauts, read on for tons of automotive fun in San Diego and beyond. The fourth of July has come and gone in San Diego, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t more summer fun to be had! We have a weekend’s worth of family fun to keep you busy and entertained for hours! Friday, July 8th, take the kids to see “Jemima Puddle-Duck” at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. There will be two performances, one at 2:30pm and one at 7pm. The Hudson Vagabond Puppets will bring this tale by Beatrix Potter to life with “larger-than-life puppets who dance and act in narrated ballets to this beloved children's story."
